Korean Broadcasting System (KBS) is the host broadcaster for the Expo 2012 in Yeosu.

KBS and the organizing committee for the event signed an agreement on Friday to that effect.

KBS President Kim In-kyu vowed his best efforts to broadcast the event successfully as KBS holds much broadcasting experience for international events, such as the Olympics, World Cup and the G20 summit.

KBS plans to form teams soon, which will be in charge of the broadcasting planning and producing for the event.

The 2012 Expo in Yeosu will draw some eight million visitors from about 100 countries around the world for three months from May 12th next year.
