Vehicles with equipment for digital broadcasting were unveiled during a ceremony at KBS on Monday.

KBS President Kim In-kyu said the ceremony signifies KBS’s assuming its duties toward switching from analogue to digital broadcasting and resolving problems of weak signal reception in some areas of the country.

Kim vowed his best efforts in providing all viewers with benefits of digital broadcasting following the switchover.

Last September, KBS placed orders for 21 such vehicles in anticipation of its switch from analogue to digital broadcasting at the end of next year.
