Gyeongbok Palace Open to Public at Night

The Gyeongbok Palace is holding night hours over the next several days to allow the public to enjoy the nocturnal atmosphere of the royal relic from the Joseon Dynasty.

Last year was the first time the palace ever held night hours. Until 10 p.m. through Sunday, structures of the palace including Gwanghwamun, Heungryemun, Geujeongjeon and Sujeongjoen, will be beautifully lit.

Traditional cultural performances will be staged and the National Palace Museum will remain open for nighttime visitors.
