The government has launched a Web site and social networking pages to introduce the 19th U.N. World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) General Assembly opening in Gyeongju in October.

The Culture, Sports and Tourism Ministry will be accepting photo submissions taken of Gyeongju sites through July first. In a public contest, citizens can also submit a five minute video themed on tourism. The video can take any format including a commercial, short film, animated film or a documentary.

Hosted by North Gyeongsang Province and Gyeonju City, the U.N. World Tourism Organization General Assembly is expected to be attended by some one thousand participants including tourism ministers from 154 member states and international organization officials.
