President Kim called on newspapers Friday to provide the readers with a basis for their opinion through impartial reports and commentaries. Speaking at a reception marking the 40th anniversary of Korean Newspapers Association, Kim warned the association against misreporting, saying newspapers should be aware of the confusion the readers will suffer as a result of misreporting. He added...newspaper reports should be from a historical point of view. He said....with radio, television and internet emerging as formidable contenders on the media market, newspapers should now win subscribers' trust for survival on the market. He added....the media market has changed from the seller's to buyer's.
