The Korean girl group the Wonder Girls has been invited to perform at the Special Olympics World Summer Games Athens 2011.

The management agency of the Wonder Girls says the group will perform its hit "Tell Me" and the Korean traditional song "Arirang" at the game's closing ceremony on Monday.

The Special Olympics, held in the summer and winter, is for people with intellectual disabilities. The event is to provide continued sport training opportunities to help their physical and social adjustment.

Following the performance in Athens, the Wonder Girls will prepare for a new album in the U.S.
