S.Korea Ballet Dancers Dominate Sicilian Dancing Competition

South Korean ballet dancers have won awards in an international dancing competition held in Sicily, Italy.

Shim Hyun-hee and Yang Chae-eun, students of the Korean National University of Arts, shared the top spot in the senior section.

Jeong Ga-yeon and Choi Ye-rim, also students of the Korea National University of Arts, jointly won first prize in the junior section in which dancers aged 18 or younger competed. Na Dae-han finished at second in the section.

In the section for students aged 14 or below, Lee Sun-woo, a student of the Korea National Institute for the Gifted in Arts, won first-grade award. His compatriot dancers Lee Go-eun and Lee Su-bin shared the second spot while Jeon Jun-hyuk came in third.
