S. Korea Had First Snow This Year

South Korea had the first snow of this season in the eastern Gangwon Province. The meteorogical observatory in Yongwol city said it snowed for about 40 minutes in the morning, even though it didn't accumulate on the ground. The office said this is the earliest time the city has had snow since it started keeping weather records in 1990. The snow is also 35 days earlier than last year.
