KBS and media company CJ E&M have discussed cooperation in the production of cultural contents such as dramas, music and performances.

The two sides Friday signed an agreement on cooperating for the development of the content industry. They also agreed to work together to further develop the domestic content industry and help Korean pop culture gain more popularity abroad.

In detail, the two sides agreed to co-plan and co-produce broadcasts, such as dramas and music programs. The two companies will also secure overseas broadcasting channels as part of efforts to further spread Korean pop culture abroad.
