S.Korea to Introduce Standardized Kindergarten Curriculum in Mar.

The government will introduce a standardized curriculum for five-year-old children who attend kindergartens or preschools beginning in March next year.

The Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Health and Welfare on Monday announced the program which will include physical exercise and health, communication skills, social relations, art and natural studies.

Kindergartens and preschools will be allowed to flexibly operate the curriculum for three to five hours a day.
