Gyeonggi International CeraMix Biennale Opens

An international ceramic biennale has opened in Gyeonggi Province.
Under the theme of “Journey from Fire,” the Gyeonggi International CeraMix Biennale 2011 will run for the next two months at Icheon, Gwangju and Yeoju, displaying ceramic works from around the world.
The Icheon Cerapia, which opened on Friday, is the nation’s first ceramics theme park equipped with various facilities, including a play ground, cafes, and exhibition halls.
Ceramic works by 25 artists from 19 countries received prizes at the opening ceremony.
