Survey: S.Koreans Believe in Dangun

Nearly six out of ten South Korean's believe the legendary founder of Korea, Dangun, existed.

According to a KBS survey of two-thousand-eight people aged 15 or older, 58-point-seven percent of respondents said that Dangun was not created but truly existed.

Sixty-five-point-seven percent said that the story about Dangun is a myth while 34-point-three percent consider it part of the nation’s history.

The four-day survey was conducted from September 15th by the Broadcast Research Institute, a research arm of KBS.
