Jogye Order Expresses Condolences for Jobs

The nation’s largest Buddhist sect, the Jogye Order, has announced a statement expressing condolences for the death of Apple cofounder Steve Jobs.

The Jogye order on Friday said that Jobs pioneered a new era for the IT industry with "intuition" and "simplicity," which are the values of Zen Buddhism, and that he presented to mankind a gift of "communication" by building a network that transcends time and space.

The Buddhist group also wished Jobs a peaceful and easy passage into eternity.
