South Korea's President Kim Marks 5th Anniversary of IMF Bailout.

Thursday is the fifth anniversary of the day Seoul asked the I-M-F for help recovering from the 19-97 economic crisis. President Kim Dae-jung said he is pleased with Koreans' collective labors in overcoming the crisis. But he said he regrets that government efforts were not entirely sufficient. The government has implemented various financial and industrial restructuring programs to help the economy rally since that time.
