President Kim Dae Jung has instructed the government to take practical measures concerning illegal aliens in consideration of small and mid-sized businesses. The president said Friday that small and medium size businesses are suffering from difficult business circumstances and lack of workforce. He added they will suffer even more if illegal foreign workers are ordered to leave at the same time. Kim was referring to the official deadline of March by which the illegal foreign workers are supposed to leave the country. The president also said the authorities should take stern measures against the employers who violate foreign workers' human rights.
