Korea will launch a liquid fuel rocket on Wednesday. The Ministry of Science and Technology said that the rocket will lift off at a aerospace center on the west coast of South Chungchung Province as long as there is no change in weather or other technical factors. The ministry is hoping the project will bring Korea one step closer to the launch of a satellite launch vehicle. The rocket is fourteen meters in length, one meter in diameter and six tons in weight. The rockets designed in the past used solid fuel but this is the first rocket designed by a Korean research team that uses liquid fuel.
