College Entrance Exam Scores Announced

The results of the nationwide college entrance examination held earlier this month are out.

The Korea Institute for Curriculum and Evaluation announced the test scores from the November tenth exam on Tuesday.

There was an increase in higher scores this year, an indication that this year’s exam was easier than last year's.

The percentage of students who scored perfect marks on sections of the exam also rose sharply.

Among students intending to study the humanities, 146 had perfect scores in the sections of Korean language, math and foreign language, while 25 students that aim to major in the sciences achieved this feat.

This compares to only eleven students in the humanities with perfect scores last year.
