Vice Unification Minister Kim Chun-sig said if North Korea shows a responsible stance, the scope of cooperation between the two Koreas may expand.

At the Global Peace Convention 2011, Kim said Tuesday in an address on peacebuilding in East Asia and the unification of the Korean Peninsula that inter-Korean cooperation is in line with the trends of the times. Pointing out that cooperation between the South and the North is also a desirable event for all involved, he demanded the North resolve its nuclear issue and make a responsible apology for its illegal provocations in order to bring about true cooperation and reconciliation.
