Historian Park's Remains to Arrive in S. Korea Wednesday

The remains of South Korean-born French historian, Park Byeng-sen, will arrive in South Korea from Paris on Wednesday.

Park’s remains will arrive at Incheon International Airport around 3:20 p.m. and then be transported to the Seoul National Cemetery under the escort of honor guards.

A ceremony marking the burial of the historian will be held at the national cemetery at around 4:30.

Park, who died of rectal cancer at the age of 83 in Paris last Tuesday, was the biggest contributor in the return of a collection of ancient Korean royal books from France.
