The 7th Pusan International Film Festival has come to a close.

The event, also called PIFF, ended its ten-day run in a grand closing ceremony held in the nation's largest port city of Pusan.

It was the biggest in its history with 220 films invited from all over the world. More than 160 thousand spectators took part in the festivity.

Under the Pusan Promotion Plan, 21 movies from 12 Asian countries met with buyers from Hollywood and Europe for investment consultations.

The annual international movie festival has emerged as the best of its kind in Asia since its start in 1996.
