The Venerable Jaseung of the nation’s largest Buddhist sect Jogye Order has delivered a Christmas message celebrating the birth of baby Jesus.

In the message released on Thursday, the top administrator of the Jogye Order urged the people to reflect themselves and set off a journey for happiness following in the footsteps of Jesus.

The Jogye Order plans to light a Christmas tree and its choir will sing carols on Friday afternoon at Jogye Temple in Seoul.
