NK Mentions Ruling as Instructed by Late Kim

North Korea has mentioned for the first time since Kim Jong-il's death state governance as instructed by the late leader, marking an official declaration of the start of his son and successor Kim Jong-un's rule.

The official newspaper of North Korea's ruling Workers' Party, Rodong Sinmun, said in a Thursday editorial that the instructions left by the late leader must be upheld to continue on the path of the Juche revolution. It also stated Kim Jong-un as the successor to his father.

Meanwhile, the North's Korean Central Television said Kim Jong-un will carry out the instructions left by his father by all means.

Minju Choson, a publication of the North Korean cabinet, also for the first time highlighted the junior Kim's achievements. It said that Jong-un's continuation of his father's military-first politics known as Seongun politics is his greatest achievement.
