South Korea and Russia to Set fisheries Quota in Tokyo Next Month.

South Korea and Russia have agreed to set the pollack catch quota for South Korea ... in Tokyo next month. The agrement came at a meeting of a joint economic, scientific, and technological commission held in Moscow on Thursday. The two sides also agreed to conclude negotiations to work out details of Russia repaying one point nine billion dollars in loans owed to South Korea. South Korea and Russia held a joint fisheries meeting last week in Moscow, but failed to reach an agreement on catch quota. The meeting will resume on December 13th to decide on the quota for Alaska pollack, squid and pike South Korean vessels will be allowed to catch in Russian waters next year.
