NK: Inter-Korean Ties Irrevocably Ruined

North Korean media say a North Korean agency has compiled various South Korean policies on North Korea and published them in the form of a white book.

The North's state-run Korean Central News Agency said the North's Committee for Peaceful Unification of the Fatherland has listed in the white book inter-Korean issues that made headlines last year.

The list includes resuming a South Korean tour program to the North's Mount Geumgang resort, inter-Korean family reunions, clandestine South-North contacts and the North Korean Human Rights Act. The book also mentions South Korea's request for a North Korean apology for the sunken "Cheonan" Navy vessel and the North's shelling of the South's Yeonpyeong Island.

The book also reportedly blasts South Korea for restricting condolatory visits to the North to pay respects to the late North Korean leader Kim Jong-il.

The North claims the incumbent South Korean administration has driven cross-border relations into an irrevocable state of catastrophe.

It also insists the Seoul government rejected the North's proposal for dialogue. The North said inter-Korean talks were ignored and blocked under the watch of South Korean President Lee Myung-bak for the first time since dialogue between the two Koreas was held.
