The Seoul city government has held an annual town meeting at City Hall.

The town meeting was held on Saturday in an effort to give foreign residents an opportunity to voice their opinions on the quality of life in Seoul.

Participants in the 3rd Seoul Town Meeting exchanged their experiences in the capital and opinions on issues such as Seoul's traffic, housing, and foreign schools.

The annual gathering is co-hosted by the city administration and the Foreign Investment Advisory Council of Seoul, the capital's advisory panel of foreign businessmen and dignitaries.

An official said the town meeting is a forum for foreigners to voice their opinions about their lives in Seoul, and are encouraged to make recommendations on creating an attractive environment for foreign investors.

More than 200 foreigners took part in the past two town meetings, making a variety of recommendations on Seoul's environment, traffic, culture, tourism and housing.
