N.Korea Sends a List of Questions to S.Korea

As a response to South Korea’s calls for dialogue and improving inter-Korean relations, North Korea has sent Seoul a series of questions for the South to answer.

A total of nine questions were sent by the North’s policy department at the National Defense Commission.

The questions include whether Seoul is ready to publicly apologize to Pyeongyang for its wrongdoings during the North's state funeral, whether the South will officially announce the implementation of the June 15th and October fourth joint declaration, and whether South Korea will refrain from accusing the North for being responsible for the sinking of the Cheonan naval corvette and the shelling of Yeonpyeong Island.

North Korea also called on the South to halt all kinds of joint military exercises and asked if it is ready to denuclearize the Korean peninsula in earnest.
