N. Korean Orchestra May Perform in U.S.

The Associated Press reports that North Korea’s National Symphony Orchestra is again seeking to perform in the U.S.

The AP says Robert Springs, the head of the Atlanta-based nonprofit organization “Global Resource Service,” said the North Korean orchestra is planning a concert in Atlanta this spring.

The humanitarian organization works in North Korea for relief efforts.

If the concert is held, it will come four years after the New York Philharmonic Orchestra performed in Pyongyang in 2008.
