Delegates Arrive in Pyongyang for Party Conference

Delegates from North Korean cities and provinces have arrived in Pyongyang to attend a special conference for the North’s Workers’ Party.

The North’s official Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) reported on Monday that the delegates were greeted by the conference preparation committee at Pyongyang Station.

Ahead of the event set for Wednesday, party committee meetings held in all cities and provinces late last month elected North Korean leader Kim Jong-un as one of the conference delegates.
