A famous transgender entertainer has won a legal battle to change sex. The Incheon District Court ruled Ha Ri-su can legally change her gender from male to female. The ruling said even though the 27-year-old entertainer was born with male chromosomes, Ha has female physical characteristics and has lived as a woman after undergoing a sex change operation. The ruling also granted the entertainer to change her name, Lee Kyung-yup, to a more feminine-sounding name ... Lee Kyung-eun. She has been known by her pen name Ha Ri Su.
