A Korean language advisory committee at KBS has held a meeting to assess and address adolescents’ overuse of abusive language.

The committee comprised of KBS announcers on Monday said that KBS announcers need to teach young people alternative expressions for abusive words and remind them how serious abusive language can be through various projects.

As part of the efforts, KBS announcers have been visiting schools since last year to teach students to properly use the Korean language.
