Girls' Generation Stamp Set to be Issued in August

Korea Post will issue postage stamps early next month depicting South Korean idol group Girls’ Generation.

SM Entertainment said on Tuesday that Korea Post will issue “Girls' Generation My Own Stamp” in early August. The stamps will be the first issued by the Korean postal service to feature entertainers.

The special stamp will be issued as a set in celebration of the fifth anniversary of the group’s debut. The set is comprised of fourteen stamps, including nine stamps with pictures and autographs of each member from "The Boys," the group’s third full-length album.

An official from Korea Post said that the stamps will greatly contribute to the development of stamp culture and the spread of Korean culture.
