“The Thieves” has become the sixth domestic film to draw more than 10 million viewers to the box office in South Korea.

The Korean Film Commission says the film had attracted ten million 90-thousand viewers by Wednesday, only just 22 days after its release.

This is the first time in three years that a South Korean movie achieved the landmark record after “Haeundae,” a movie about natural disasters.
