South Korean movie “The Thieves” will be released throughout Asia after drawing more than eleven-million viewers to the box office at home.

The film will be shown in Hong Kong, Indonesia and Singapore next month and open up in theaters in Malaysia, Thailand and other Asian countries in October and November.

In addition, director Choi Dong-hun's hit movie has been invited to be screened in the Contemporary World Cinema category at the Toronto International Film Festival, which opens on September sixth.

The Thieves, which has attracted eleven-point-25 million viewers as of Monday, is expected to break the record of eleven-point-45 million viewers set by Korean blockbuster "Haeundae" this week.
