S. Korean Soccer Foundation to Host World Peace King Cup in July

A South Korean soccer foundation plans to host an international soccer competition that will bring together eight world-famous pro soccer clubs in July. The Sunmoon Peace Soccer Foundation also said it will funnel the proceeds from the World Peace King Cup into supporting children in the Third World. The winner and runner-up will be awarded two million and 500 thousand U.S. dollars respectively. Among the eight participating teams are PSV Eindhoven of the Netherlands, AS Roma of Italy, LA Galaxy of the United States and Songnam Ilhwa of South Korea.
