PSY Holds Free Concert in Central Seoul

South Korean singer PSY held a free concert in Seoul on Thursday night that was streamed live to the rest of the world through YouTube.

PSY, who is enjoying international fame for his megahit “Gangnam Style,” performed from 10 p.m. at Seoul Plaza in front of city hall.

His agency, YG Entertainment, said that the concert was aired live via PSY’s official YouTube channel for his fans around the world who could not come and directly see the show.

The company said that the decision was made to thank his fans for their support.

PSY ranked second on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 Chart for the second week in a row Wednesday, falling just shy of the top spot held by U.S. pop-rock band Maroon 5.
