A music competition featuring the best new and original artists from the Asia-Pacific region was held on the sidelines of the Asia-Pacifc Broadcasting Union (ABU) General Assembly in Seoul on Thursday.

Thirteen musical talents from representative countries of the ABU were selected to compete in the broadcasting organization's inaugural song festival.

The musical duo Bily Acoustie from South Korea won the Grand Prix award at the event, and Danielle Blakely from Australia won the Gold Award. The Silver Award went to Maria Aires of Brunei and Sammy Ray Jones of Australia took the bronze.
