Kim Jong-un Stresses Computer and Military Education

North Korean state-run media report that North Korean leader Kim Jong-un ordered the strengthening of his nation's computer and military education.

The Korea Central News Agency (KCNA) said that Kim stated in a letter he sent to the Mangyongdae Revolutionary School that as the use of computers is expanding at a rapid pace throughout society, more practical computer-related courses should be created. The school is an educational institution for children of high-ranking government officials.

Kim also reportedly stressed in the letter that the school as an institution dedicated to cultivating officers of the North’s Korean People’s Army must strengthen basic military education.
