The crowd at KBS Hall Sunday night was alive with applause for some of Asia's best singers at a music festival held to mark Seoul’s hosting of the Asia-Pacifc Broadcasting Union (ABU) General Assembly.

The ABU TV Song Festival featured star singers from eleven Asian countries, including South Korea’s TVXQ.

The festival was revived for the General Assembly in Seoul after a 30-year hiatus.

The event also offered opportunities to some 80 concert staffers from participating countries to exchange their show production knowhow and skills.

The concert will be broadcast in eleven Asian countries and aired in South Korea on October 21st on KBS 1TV.
