President-elect Roh Moo-hyun Tuesday decided to send Rep. Chung Dong-young of the ruling Millennium Democratic Party to represent him at the Davos Forum Feb. 23rd thru 28th. Roh's spokesman Lee Nak-yon said that several experts on economic affairs will accompany Chung. Lee said Roh selected Chung to allow him to explain the comprehensive situation in Korea to participants of the forum, which is expected to address not only the economy but also a variety of situations facing the country. Informed sources said Rep. Chung will likely meet with Kim Young-nam, chairman of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly of North Korea, if Kim attends the forum.
