N. Korea's Workers' Party to Make 'Decision of Grave Importance'

North Korea's state media reports the Politburo of the Workers’ Party will hold a full meeting of the party's central committee in late March.

Korean Central News Agency said the Politburo plans to make a decision of grave importance that will bring about a critical switch in the course of its main ideological Juche revolution.

According to a party rule revised in September 2010, the central committee’s full meeting is summoned more than once a year and has the authority to elect the general secretary of the party and members of the Politburo and the Politburo Standing Committee.

Meanwhile, the 7th session of the 12th Supreme People’s Assembly, the North’s parliament, is scheduled to open on April 1st in Pyeongyang.
