The Korea Record institute has officially acknowledged singer PSY’s free concert at Seoul City Hall Plaza in October last year as holding the highest attendance for a concert in Korea.

PSY’s agency said on Monday that 100-thousand people attended at the concert, which took place on October fourth last year.

The institute hoped that the record will be added to the Guinness Book of World Records as well, saying that the Seoul City Hall concert contributed to promoting Korean pop culture around the world.

PSY’s agency plans to have the record added to the Guinness Book of World Records through the institute.
