The Education Ministry is utilizing arts as a way to cultivate good personalities in students.

The ministry selected 130 schools that will run musical classes and troupes for students from the first semester of this year.

Each school will be given 30 million won in financial support over three years for running musical programs.

Actors and actresses will volunteer to teach students and the schools will receive assistance from related institutions, such as art colleges, for running musical programs.

Meanwhile, the ministry increased the number of orchestras at schools from 100 to 400.
