A North Korean propaganda organization threatens that it will turn South Korea into “a sea of fire.”

The Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of the Fatherland said Thursday that “the North’s means of strike are on standby for launch and ready to turn enemy strongholds into a sea of fire.”

The comment followed the South Korean unification minister’s statement earlier Thursday urging Pyongyang for dialogue.

In the message, the committee denounced the Seoul government, experts and conservative media for misleading the public on North Korea’s grave measures.
