South Korean companies with factories in the Gaeseong Industrial Complex will make another attempt to send their officials to the joint industrial park on Saturday.

The Corporate Association of Gaeseong Industrial Complex said Thursday that the officials plan to gather at the Inter-Korean Transit Office to deliver food and other necessities to workers at the complex on Saturday.

The association said the companies are individually applying to visit the inter-Korean park at South Korea’s Unification Ministry.

The association said, however, that the second attempt to enter the Gaeseong complex is being carried out by the individual businesses and is not related to the association.

North Korea denied a ten-member delegation of the association from entering the park with the same purpose on Wednesday.
