North Korea has warned that the Korean people will not forgive South Korea if the South shuts down the inter-Korean Gaeseong Industrial Complex.

The Minju Chosun, Pyongyang’s official paper published by the Cabinet, said in an article on Tuesday that the North does not care whether the South pulls its personnel out of the complex, but the Koreans will not forgive the South if Seoul decides to shut down the park.

The North also denounced the South for its support measures for troubled companies, calling it a trick directing the South Koreans’ anger toward the North and to break down the complex.

Analysts speculate the North is putting the responsibility of the Gaeseong crisis on Seoul while stressing that it had no intention of shutting down the complex.
