Rhythmic gymnast Son Yeon-jae continues to win big at World Cup competitions this year, including her latest bronze medal finish at the World Cup in Sofia, Bulgaria.

In the final hoop event, Son tied at third with a score of 17.800. The medal is all the more significant as the hoop final was the only category-A event this season participated in by top world class athletes.

Son has now won a medal at all three consecutive World Cups this season.

In Sofia, Son advanced to the finals in all four events for the ball, hoop, club and ribbon but only medaled in the hoop event.

She will return home Tuesday and compete for a spot on South Korea's national gymnast team.
