The number of registered vehicles nationwide has passed the 14 million mark. The Ministry of Construction and Transportation said the figure is an increase of one million from a year ago. The figure also means one car for an average of three-point-four people. By type, the number of compact passenger cars declined sharply while that of mid- and large-sized cars have soared over the past five years.
