North Korea Fires Short-range Missile into East Sea for 2nd Day

North Korea has fired another short-range missile on Sunday afternoon toward the East Sea.

The South Korean Defense Ministry says North Korea fired a missile between 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. on Sunday from its east coast to the northeast.

North Korea had fired three short-range missiles the previous day off its east coast near the city of Wonsan.

The South Korean military authority says that it is currently analyzing the specifications of the missile and the North’s intention behind the series of missile launch.
