Lee Il-hee Wins 1st LPGA Tour in Bahamas

South Korean Lee Il-hee captured her first career LPGA Tour win in the Pure-Silk Bahamas LPGA Classic on Sunday.

Lee won with a three-round total of 11-under 126, two strokes better than Irene Cho of the U.S.

Lee entered the final round in fifth and three shots back of the leader. However, her spot-on putting turned things around and allowed her the come from behind victory.

Due to heavy rains earlier in the week, several holes were submerged and the tournament had to be shortened. Golfers played 12 holes in each of the three rounds. At least 36 holes must be played at an LPGA event for it to be official.

Lee netted 195-thousand dollars for the win.
