S. Korea Beats Cuba in U20 World Cup

South Korea beat Cuba 2-1 on Friday in the first match of Group B play at the U20 World Cup in Turkey.   
 
Cuba struck first with a goal in the first half, but South Korea equalized and scored the go-ahead goal in the second half. 
 
It was the first of three critical games for both teams. 
 
Cuba and South Korea are grouped with Nigeria and Portugal in Group B. Only the top two teams automatically advance to the next round. The third place finisher has a shot for a wild card berth.
 
South Korea will play Portugal this weekend and Nigeria on November 27.
 
The FIFA U20 World Cup is the world's soccer championship for male players under the age of 20.
